Library/Lectures

The  Museum has study and research facilities and a reference library.  If you wish to use these facilities, please make an appointment with  Mrs. Alexander, the Curator and Director of the Museum.  In addition and by appointment, Mrs. Alexander can provide lectures on any aspect of the history of fans at the Museum or any other appropriate location.

Education

The Fan Museum has a wide range of curriculum-based educational programmes for people of all ages. The educational activities can include thematic tours of the museum, worksheets, lectures, handling sessions, supervised workshops, fans on loan for exhibition (only if the standard of environmental conditions are compatible with regulations of RE:SOURCE - previously Museums and Galleries Commission), associated materials, access to visual and written information and various follow-up activities.
